dan's jams - music reviews

This album is filled with lots of potential and not much else.
To be brutally honest, this was a total bore, even after listening to it several times, looking for more substance. What I found is I still couldn't tell most of the songs apart; none of them reached out and slapped me with anything other disappointment. The riffs seem redundant, the vocals-almost monotone. I saw some ingredients of a great concept album while reading through the lyrics, but later found myself asking "How do you take words like this and put me to sleep?"

I'm not quite sure I really want to know. All I want to know is where is the real Slayer and can they come out and play?
