Dan's Album Review:

Caulk was the flagship band for the Dallas label One Ton Records. In fact, the starter and organizer of the label, Aden Holt, played guitar and sang in this band. I think that was his name. Anyway.

This album was the first full length release of this Denton band, and this album features a lot of stretching and far reaching styles within a sort of wide-open cacophonous framework. The music is often shifting from part ot part that sometimes don't even seem to relate to one another, or do so quite loosely, Generally this is indie alt garage rock with a penchant to just kick out noisy jams whenever the mood struck them. It's decent and if you're a fan of any of the Dallas rock from this timeframe it's worth checking out.
